Prerequisites
The Ocean Pro Difference
100% AWARE
We are partnered with Project AWARE, a global non-profit organization that is Protecting Our Ocean Planet - One Dive at a Time. They are focused on the critical issues of Sharks in Peril and Marine Debris, and we're supporting
them by donating $10 for every student we certify.
We Practice What We Preach
The minimum requirement for the Project AWARE specialty is all in the classroom, where you learn about the ocean and why conservation is so important. But we don't think that's enough. When it comes to ocean conservation it's not enough to just talk about, we want to do something! So as part of our certification requirements, everyone will take part in some form of ocean conservation activity; be it an underwater clean up, REEF survey or a beach clean up there are options to fit your life.

Low Ratios
We keep our student to instructional staff ratios low to ensure you can progress a pace that is comfortable for you. We keep our numbers to a max of four students to one instructor or less.
None! Anyone can take this course, and everyone should. Find out more about the Project AWARE by checking out their website !
