Shannon (Shaz) Kozak

Shaz is the co-owner and primary operator of Ocean Pro Divers. Diving since 1989, Shaz loves to share her fascination with the ocean and her commitment to diving with others through our comprehensive education program. As a Course Director (one of only 1200 in the world!), Shaz teaches all programs from Discover Scuba to Master Instructor.

Shaz is passionate about marine identification and is a great resource for fish identification! Ask her about the unusual critters you see underwater.

In an unending effort to continuously improve Ocean Pro Divers into the finest dive center in Canada, Shaz has completed PADI's highest level program and become a Course Director. This comprehensive two week program, conducted once annually at two locations, California and Malaysia, brings some of the most qualified PADI Master Instructors from around the globe together to help develop them into Course Directors, able to go forth and train the next generation of PADI instructors.

She is also committed to continuing education and is continuing her own diving development as she heads down the technical path. She has just recently completed the PADI Tec 40 program!
