Steve was first certified in 1971. That was before BCD's, dry suits, dive computers (well affordable ones anyways) and ... well, you get the picture. It was the wild, wild, west days of diving!

Following a lengthy hiatus (aka kids), Steve re-certified as a PADI Scuba diver with his daughter Kate in 2003. He enjoys diving all over BC with the Ocean Pro team and gets in at least one warm water dive trip each year…preferably some place in the world he has never been. Steve's retirement plan is to become a PADI Master Scuba Diver Instructor and teach diving with his wife Cindy somewhere in the world where the water is warm and the viz is unbelievable!
